End of semester Moodle Admin announcements
I hope everyone has had an enjoyable summer semester! Try to enjoy your time off. As you prepare for the fall semester, please be aware of the following important information regarding what will be happening to Moodle over break.
Upgrade of http://online.jalc.edu
We will be upgrading our Moodle installation on Wednesday, August 11th at 9:00am. You will not be able to access http://online.jalc.edu until after noon that day. This will affect anyone who is logging into http://online.jalc.edu
Username change
During the upgrade on August 11th, we will also be making some changes to student user names.
- Students - Your user names will be changed to be your student ID number(not your SSN). If you have already been logging into Moodle, your password won't change. If you have never logged into Moodle, your password will also be your student ID number (not your SSN).
- Faculty - Your user names and passwords will remain the same. Please help your students in the transition to their new user names.
If you have questions regarding the upgrade process, please don't hesitate to ask.
